We are looking to get a used SUV from like 2006 or 2007. We cannot afford a fancy one like Lexus, Mercedes, etc. nor do I feel we can afford a new suv of any kind. Well there is book value and playability value. People are looking for cards that are in the most popular decks at the moment. The only card here that has high playability value is mirror force tho they released a common of it. It runs for around $30 if mint add$20 if 1st Ed. The others I would try to sell at a bit below there actual book value, this will want collectors to pick them up for the heck of it.

What is a good first car?

I'm a 17 year old girl and I have had my license for over a year now. I have a job and I need a car to get to and from work. I have been driving my mom's car to work, it is a toyota echo, so I am an experienced driver. I have almost $5,000 saved up and my dad said he will pay for half of my car, but I have to pay for gas, insurance, etc. I have been looking at the new Chevrolet Aveo, it looks pretty nice and it's only about $12,000. Any opinions on this car or any other first cars? I also have been looking at a Nissan Versa sedan, but I don't like how you have to pay extra for anti break locks, air conditioning, and automatic transmission. My price range is anything under $13,000. I'm afraid to get a cheap car, like under $5000 because my brother has bought 2 cars under $5,000, and they both broke down. I know this doesn't mean it will happen to me, but I would prefer a nice, reliable car that I will take with me to college and that I will have for a long time. Again, I am a very experienced driver I have been driving my mom's car to work almost every day, but she is tired of me driving it all the time and thinks it is time for me to have my own car. Now I'm really ashamed say this but at 5am this morn I had a rat the size of a small cat charge at me and brush past my feet (even though I jumped pretty much to the roof) as it made its escape into a rathole I happened to be unfortunately standing in front of and I screamed like I was being murdered.. not once but a few times. 3 I think... I was so traumatised I started sobbing. I have never been so freaked... aside from a spooky encounter which doesnt fit this catergory :) I dont mind being charged by big animals although they get the adrenalin going I feel more confidant standing my ground to a naughty horse or my horned playful cow but this rat unnerved me like nothing... I cant believe I started sobbing :) My horse is not too bothered by a rat...but he has a phobia of kangaroos and wallabies... cant say I blame him they just jump out from nowhere and from now on I am going to be alot more understanding of his fear ;) What scares the crappers out of you and your horse?

Why do i get worse in singing when i practice more?

I'm a very good singer naturally and I figured that I want to make it my life. But it seems that when I really start to put a lot to practice in it and get serious, I feel like i'm starting to get worse. I woke up at five in the morning and had a bowl of oatmeal. For a snack I had an orange, and then for lunch I had a 6 in subway sandwich and a cup of soup. When i get in high speed, especially the high way, it starts to creep up to the hot, so i got off and it cooled down. is it because Arizona is so hot and i have no ac? also it has started not to start on the first key turn and it seems like the rpm's go really high before it changes gears... what could this stuff be?

White spots have cleared?

white spots have cleared on my black finned oranda.... however he is now hiding a lot. he is only a lil baby... 2 inches... minus the tail. dont want him to die! i looked closely a him and his tail has white chalk like markings there where as when i got him he was all black... is this from the white spots or is this fin rot setting in? if i change water he gets more active for a bit (1/2hr) then goes behind the plants :( dont want to take the plants out if that makes him feel safer. i have been told by Maidenhead Aquatics not to feed him for 24hrs and see if he gets better. and to keep using the spot cream for another week. o and they checked my water levels and said all was good... but to do 20% water changes every other day until he gets fully recovered. they didnt recommend salt as i said i was wary of killing them by overdoing it. What should I expect down the line for repairs in my 2000 Camry?

It is a 2000 Toyota Camry with about 106,000 miles on it. Replaced the water pump and timing belt at about 95,000 and just replaced a catalytic converter. Now I have an evap code where I need to get a new evap canister before inspection ($400 in parts + $300 in labor). Basically, my question is: with all these recent repairs, what should I expect to see down the road? I don't want to keep putting in $1000+ every year in repairs.

I play chess and condition my brain/body to maximize performance. Brake problems on 2001 Toyota Camry CE?

I own an 01' Toyota camry. I'm stationed in germany right now and have to pass their inspection. One of the tests they do spins the wheels with the brake applied to measure the resistance. My car failed for having too much of a difference between the resistance on the left rear wheel and the right rear wheel. With the right rear being the lower of the 2, when the inspector tested them with the parking brake, the same values came up on the machine. i came home and pulled off my drums. the drums are in perfect shape and the the shoes are practically new. both sides were adjusted correctly and had a little bit of drag when spun by hand. i went over all of the the lines starting from the master cylinder, all the way to all four wheels and found no leaks or loose connections. i also checked the parking brake cables from the lever to the rear wheels and cant see anything wrong there. I am just at a loss with this problem. If they had failed only on the pedal test i would think it was something in the brake lines and bleed them. but they also failed on the parking brake test which is all cable operated. So i just cant pin point the problem. Please let me know if you have ever had any trouble like this or have any ideas for how to fix it, or anything i may have forgotten to check. thanks.

I'd go with 3 Machina mayhem. You'll still need 3 of the deck and 3 smashing ground as well as other staples such as mirror force, solemn and bottomless. It's not terribly expensive and wont be over $60. If you're going to regionals and want to be competitive for a low price this is pretty much the easiest option. However, don't feel bad if you get trounced by six sams. They're ****ing everywhere and dangerously good. I suggest siding 3 warrior elimination.

Question on old toyota camry alternator?

I have an 88camry. the alternator recently pooped on me. as it was going, when I would put in in gear, or turn on the AC, the engine would slow down to such a slow idle it would almost die, then it did die. they told me that this is because it was drawing on the alternator and the alternator just didn't have enough oomph to keep the car going. so I got a new alternator. first few weeks it ran great, but now,whenever I put it in gear, it runs very , very slowly,the RPM's are like 300, barely enough to keep it running. and this is without the AC on. it acts like it's about to die at any second, just like it did before replacing the alternator. but you would think that the mechanic would have tested the entire system to see if it was something else. also it has had a recent tune up with new plugs and wires and rotor, etc. it's a fuel injected car. can anything else be going on here? the car does have 235,000 miles on it and usually runs so quiet it's like an electric car, it just purrs, but now it acts like it want's to die again when you put it in gear, and it did actually die once while in gear. the RPMS are sooo low, just barely enough to keep it running while in gear.

I love Scarface, its one of my favorite films of all time, I think its really good and very entertaining and I have a poster of it hanging in my room. But I find it quite amusing that so many rappers take a life lesson out of it. Everything in the movie is so over-the-top from the violence, to the music, to the cussing, to be so 80's. Even Al Pacino's Cuban accent was so overdone. When Oliver Stone wrote the script he named the character after Joe Montana, wow, he put alot of thought into that. When Pacino was doing this movie was he really thinking in the back of his mind "I could be doing something very deep right now".Its a complete testosterone film meant to get guys pumped and nothing more. I find it so hilarious that rappers find it so profound. I still love it though. and I love Pacino.

73 toyota tercel antenna removal?

Knee pain when bending & kneeling?

I've noticed lately that my knees have been hurting only when I bend or kneel. It almost feels like they're stiff. So I'm not if it's from the running cause my body isn't used to it & maybe the extra weight doesn't help or if it's even from all the kneeling I'm doing changing my son's diapers? I don't feel like I'm overexercising at all or overdoing it. I used to exercise a lot before! Any tips?

Toyota Celica rear axle seized?

I overheated the engine (separate problem) & still was able to drive & park it for a few days. I came back a few days later & the back wheels are locked up. The car is front-wheel drive. It is not the regular disc brakes (we took the caliper off one side with no change). We are pretty sure it isn't the emergency brake (it seems to be working fine) & it isn't the clutch. It goes into gear & "tries" to go, but the rear wheels won't let it budge more than a centimeter. Suggestions? 1997 Toyota Carina E Sli Leanburn is overheating?

About a month ago I noticed my temperature gauge was higher than the normal point. When normal it sits around half way. This time it was 75% up and heading for overheat. There was also some smoke/steam coming from under the bonnet. So I got home, parked and waited for the car to cool down. I got some antifreeze and some water and filled the radiator. Car ran fine for a month. Then tonight, I noticed the smoke/steam again and this time the temperature gauge was in the red and peaking. I stopped the car. When I got out I noticed water pouring heavily under the car and even a little through the front grill. I again waited for it to cool down. After a while I checked the water underneath again and it had stopped but there was a wet patch around the length of the car underneath and a heavy wet patch under the front of the car. Once it cooled down I filled it with water and antifreeze and drove home. I was close to home so it didn't overheat in that very short trip. Any suggestions? I've heard of silicon rad-fix options, breaking eggs into the radiator and all that. I'm happy to get it checked by a mechanic but I'd like to know what the likely problem is before I go there and if it's an expensive fix. It's an old car but a very good driver and very reliable and I'd like to keep it.

Check Engine light was reset?

I just purchased this my toyota celica yesterday, after checking the oil i did not place the dipstick back into the proper position. It wasnt pushed in all the way. After driving the car for about 2 days, and taking it on a 100mile trip i noticed the check engine light was on. Therefore right away i was trying to trouble shoot for things such as a loose gas cap, and i came across my dipstick. I pushed it in all the way and resetted the check engine light by pulling the battery. Than i took the vechicle for a drive for about an hour. My question is now long does it actually take for the car to notice something is wrong?

Shin splints - is it possible to be tender but not have them?

I've dealt with shin splints in the past too. A good way to ease the pain and help the healing process is to freeze a dixie cup of water and use the open end to massage your shins with. You can also strengthen your shin muscles by laying on your back and hold your leg up so your upper leg is vertical and your lower leg is horizontal then "write" the alphabet with your big toe and do that for both legs. Your heel/toe walks are good and you can also try to stand on the edge of the steps and just lift yourself with your toes and do 10-15 nice a slowly. These are all targeted for your shins specifically so you don't want to overdo these exercises while starting, rather gradually build up over a month or so. Strengthening other parts of your legs may also help relieve stress on your shins and prevent shin splint. At this point, you probably don't have shin splints and your legs are sore from running so don't worry too much. Just be aware of your body and try out these tips. Should your shins feel extra sore one day, take some ibuprofen to lessen the swelling (even if you don't need it for the pain it will help your muscles to heal faster and let you get back to running).

97 Corolla A/C blows hot air?

I have a 97 Toyota Corolla. When I turn on the a/c it blows out hot air. I can hear the compressor switch on when I hit the a/c button. I bought a can of 134a with a pressure gauge on it. It reads a psi at 150 that is in the red zone and says "may have mechanical problems" so it's not the refrigerant. I really don't want to take it to a shop. Why are my rear brakes locking?

1999 toyota solara gas mileage question?

I own a 1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6 and im getting extremely bad gas mileage, I went to my mechanic and he said mechanically the car is in excellent condition and he has no idea why im getting such poor gas mileage, around 10 miles a galon, my car holds 18.5 gallons and i go about 185-190 miles in the city on a full tank of gas. I drive normal, no speeding and wreckless driving and such. Would anyone have any suggestions of what i can do, my car had a tune up about 5 thousand miles ago and i just put in a good air filter. I was thinking would a K&N or Injen cold air intake improve my gas mileage?

I would suspect that it is a relay. If they are wired correctly the switch inside the car should activate a relay. The relay will switch the power on and off for the ballasts for the lights. If the lights were to replace existing factory lights, the relay is likely near the fuse box but I don't know for sure on your car.

I have a 1996 Toyota 4Runner. I noticed that after an hour's worth of driving on the highway, my brakes get really weak and soft. My Car Is Driving VERY Erratically..please help?
