Can I trade in a financed vehicle?

I financed an 09 certified used corolla from the Toyota dealership completely under my name & I paid the down payment and the insurance is in my name. Ever since then my husband has completely hijacked the car and makes me feel guilty if I ever want or need to go somewhere. He refuses to discuss getting a 2nd car. Since the car is technically mine anyway, I think I'm just going stop complaining about it and trade it in for two older cheaper cars. Could I bring it back to the Toyota dealership or a Carmax and maybe get two year 2000 corollas or camry's instead? Do they allow that? Thank you!
