Which truck is better Toyota Tacoma or a Ford F-150?

I am a truck lover I am looking a truck that is good at speed, performance, and reability trucks that don't give me problems I want to know a recommended list of a truck that Is stable and good for off roading trips and has a high mileage. I am 20 years old I can afford a truck brand new from a dealer but my point is I just want to know a truck that wont give me several amount of problems and It's great for pulling and has a medium sized truck bed.
