What Type of Mammal (Animal) could I write a story about? List of mammals? ?

I think a story about mice and/or rats would be interesting. If not you could do: bats, foxes, crows, deer(that might be a little too Bambi XD), rabbits(Think Watership Down), horses, moles, raccoons, or owls.
