Makup ideas for a party?

So I'm going to a friends b-day party & I'm looking for makeup ideas.....hopefully something not TOO overdone, just fun and simple....because I never really wear makeup.....ever. I'm a teenager and I don't really care about makeup so yea. . I'm going to be wearing a dark blue dress, almost black & its going to be at the night time. Any suggestions?
