Bicycling with my dog?

i think your dog can run farther than that ... my dog is 14 pounds and can run 6 miles before she flops on the grass ... my dog runs on asphalt but i have trained her to run on the grass so she does not bother anyone else using the path ... i think you should run her till she can not run any more and stops on her own, note how far and how long you have gone, get off your bike and walk for a bit to let the dog catch her breath and you will know how far the dog can go ... my dog has never come close to the bike as i was afraid she will get squished being so little, so she is trained to stay back from all bikes ...
